Adopting an animal from an SPCA, humane organization or rescue group can be a very rewarding experience. You will be giving a homeless animal a second chance in life and providing it with a safe, loving "forever" home.

* If over 6 months of age includes a clause that entitles owner to 25% off the cost of spay/neuter at whatever vet clinic they choose.
- All cats and kittens that are adopted must be kept indoors unless they are on a harness and leash and supervised by their owner. This is done for the feline’s protection. Animals adopted from us have been rescued from one situation or another and should not be put at further risk.
- If an adult animal is adopted that has not yet been spayed or neutered, spay or neuter must be done within 30 days of the adoption.
- If a kitten or puppy is adopted they must be spayed or neutered by the age of six months.
- An animal adopted from us cannot be given to another person or euthanized without our permission.

The Antigonish Branch is a foster based-Branch that was formed in 1991 and has the largest catchment area of any of our Branches.
