Dartmouth, NS (March 31, 2016) – After a visit from Nova Scotia SPCA Cruelty Investigations team on Tuesday, March 29th, Gail Benoit – repeat offender – has been charged once again for violating the Animal Protection Act under the following sections;
Section 21 (6) selling of an animal (cats) without veterinary certificate of health;
Section 18B (2) refusing to furnish information required by an Inspector or Peace Officer in the exercise of powers or the performance of duties of an Inspector or Peace Officer
Benoit’s first appearance in court to face these charges will occur on April 19th at 9:30 a.m. in Dartmouth Court.
