(Yarmouth) October 3, 2016 – The Nova Scotia SPCA, Yarmouth branch is holding a public consultation at the Yarmouth Library on October 12, 2016 at 6:30pm.
The Nova Scotia SPCA wants to hear from the community what changes and improvements they would like to see happen at the local SPCA Animal Shelter located at 298 Hardscratch Road, Yarmouth.
‘This public meeting is an opportunity for the Nova Scotia SPCA to discover what the community wants in an SPCA Animal Shelter that would encourage local involvement and engagement’ says Elizabeth Murphy, CEO of the Nova Scotia SPCA. ‘With the significant bequest recently received from Eleanor Dyke and Family we are in a very fortunate position to make some big changes for the Animals and our local facility.’
The Nova Scotia SPCA Yarmouth branch cares for over 700 animals per year and we would like to remind the community that 100% of the money raised in their community stays in their community to help local animals in need.
