It’s me, Lexi! (short for LEXUS). I found my forever home on 07th of August and I wanted to update you on my adventures since then!
It has been a whirlwind romance for me and Mommy; we love each other very much and I am very happy. We take at least 4 walks a day ( and now that it’s getting colder, I get to wear my fabulous new North Fetch parka! ) and my “accidents” in the house are less and less. But Mommy understands and is always patient with me. We have the best cuddles at night, as Mommy lets me sleep under the covers with her and doesn’t mind my snoring.
My best friend is Tucker, a two year old Pug, who visits me once a week. We did a road trip to the seaside for Labour Day week end, where we got to run on the beach, FUN! I also went apple-picking in the valley and gave Mommy a little panic when I got out of my leash and ran through the orchard, with four children and three adults chasing me. (Mommy still wonders how I got free and she calls me her “Little Houdini”.)
Life is very good, and I recovered very nicely from my spay surgery in September.
Thanks to all the staff there for taking such good care of me, and Mommy says a BIG THANK YOU for helping her find me. She tells everyone who will listen that I saved HER.
Love Lexi xoxoxo
