CORPORATE PARTNERS

Pet Secure has been a proud partner of the Nova Scotia SPCA for the past 5 years. The SPCA is all about creating families and saving lives, while Pet Secure helps to protect you and your fur family beyond the stages of adoption. Each animal leaves our shelter with a complimentary 6 week trial of pet insurance thanks to our fabulous partner.
Pet Smart Charities has helped the Nova Scotia SPCA through their grant program build a clinic at our Provincial Animal Shelter and our newly built hospital in Sydney, Cape Breton.

Pet Smart locations across Nova Scotia also act as 'off site adoption centers' for cats, helping us to increase capacity within our shelters and fosters and thus serve more animals in our community.
Zoetis is a world leader in discovering, developing, manufacturing and marketing veterinary medicines and vaccines as well as complementary diagnostics, genetic tests, and services. They assist the Nova Scotia SPCA in being able to afford high quality vaccines, tests and medical equipment to provide all animals in our top notch medical care.
The Nova Scotia Liqour Commission allows the NS SPCA to have cash cans at its various locations across the Province helping to raise much needed funds for the animals in our community. Cash cans placed at the check-outs allow its customers to support the SPCA at a grassroots level, bringing in thousands of dollars each year!
We’re proud to feed Hill’s® Science Diet®. Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love® program donates food for our homeless pets 365 days a year. This provides precisely balanced nutrition that helps these pets find their way to happier, healthier lives. We’re proud to feed Hill’s® Science Diet®!

At the Nova Scotia SPCA, we’re proud to be part of the Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love® program and we feed all our pets Hill’s Science Diet

We suggest that you continue feeding your pet Hill’s Science Diet as continuity and consistency of food helps avoid the stress of switching.

LOCAL PARTNERS

PetValu is a fabulous partner for the Nova Scotia SPCA, providing several fundraising opportunities throughout the year for our various branches to participate in.

PetValu locations across Nova Scotia also act as 'off site adoption centers' for cats, helping us to increase capacity within our shelters and fosters and thus serve more animals in our community.
Pets Unlimited is another pet store dedicated to ending the cycling of animal mills in Nova Scotia and exclusively adopting cats from our shelters across the province in their pet stores.

Pets Unlimited locations across Nova Scotia act as 'off site adoption centers' for cats, helping us to increase capacity within our shelters and fosters and thus serve more animals in our community.
The Nova Scotia SPCA is fortunate to have a clinic on site at our Dartmouth location 5 days a week. Our amazing veterinarian comes from Eastern Passage and Dr. Pollard has over 10yrs experience exclusively in shelter medicine. We are fortunate to have such talent at our finger tips!
Our Provincial office is located just down the road from our Dartmouth shelter, in Burnside Industrial Park. The lovely folks at Cominar Building Management donates our office space to us, and even allows our furry friends to visit from time to time!
Heidi Petracek and the crew from CTV Morning Live have been such wonderful supporters of the Nova Scotia SPCA. The first Tuesday of every month you can find us hanging out with Heidi during our segment 'Pet Talk' featuring the latest in SPCA and animal related news.

You can also find Heidi hosting various SPCA events throughout the calendar year, such as our Bark in the Park - featuring as one of our celebrity dog show judges, and our annual Cat Film Festival in Halifax!
Caroline and Griff are the cooky bunch that invite the SPCA every Wednesday to participate in their segment 'WetNose Wednesday', which features SPCA adoptables! These fine folks also support us by advertising countless events, PSA's and other animal related information for our shelter throughout the year! We are so fortunate to have radio partners like JACK FM to help us spread the word about the work we do, and even more fortunate that they do it out of the goodness of their hearts and provide this ability to broadcast at no cost! Tune in to hear about our adoptables every Wednesday!
Nicole Pittman a REALTOR®
with Royal LePage Atlantic. For every property she sells or a buyer purchases from her she will donate $100 to our local SPCA. The PAWSitive Property campaign is very close
to her heart as I have always been an animal lover. Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
