Nova Scotia (May 10, 2012) - On April 30, 2012, the Kings County Branch of the Nova Scotia SPCA held their annual general meeting at the Lions Club Hall in Coldbrook. The meeting was a forum to address members and the public, to proclaim a new board slate, and provide an update on the previous operating year.

The Kings Branch was formed in 1990, but opened the doors of its shelter in 2009. It is actively involved in TNR and helps support overflow from the southern end of the province.
