Nova Scotia (May 10, 2012) - On April 30, 2012, the Kings County Branch of the Nova Scotia SPCA held their annual general meeting at the Lions Club Hall in Coldbrook. The meeting was a forum to address members and the public, to proclaim a new board slate, and provide an update on the previous operating year.

Nova Scotia SPCA Kings County Branch Seeks Interested Candidates for Manager of Animal Care

The Nova Scotia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSSPCA) Kings County Branch is currently seeking an interested individual for the full-time, salaried position of Manager of Animal Care/Shelter Manager/Care Centre Manager.

On April 18, 2012, the Provincial Board of Directors for the Nova Scotia SPCA formed a committee to conduct an internal investigation into the activities of the staff, volunteers and board members of the Kings County Branch. The committee was asked to ensure workplace policies are being adhered to and understood.
