Fundraising and Events

As a non-profit charitable organization, we are constantly in need of funds to continue with the valuable work we do. We are a non-government organization and rely on donations and fundraising activities for our sustainability. 

The Provincial NS SPCA and its branches hold numerous fundraisers and events each year. These events would not be possible without volunteers.  We are always seeking keen and energetic individuals with a desire to help who possess strong organizational skills, great communication and leadership skills to assist with the planning and implementation of events and fundraisers. 

Equally important is the requirement for volunteers to help out on the day of the events and/or fundraisers.  It is increasingly difficult in today’s busy society to make a regular commitment; however, these events offer everyone an opportunity to help out without a long-term time requirement.
