Without your support, our lifesaving work would not be possible. Your donation supports the area of greatest need. It may be applied to cruelty investigations or animal care. Your support helps to rehabilitate and re-home thousands of animals that are abandoned or are rescued from unimaginable cruelty. The Society responds to more than 1,500 complaints annually of alleged abuse, neglect and cruelty in the province. The SPCA is mandated to enforce provincial animal welfare legislation and relies on donor dollars to rescue animals from harm. We are a no kill animal welfare organization, dedicated to giving every animal the chance of a loving forever home. Thank you for giving us the privilege of saving lives.

Corporate Matching Gifts. Many employers contribute to the Nova Scotia SPCA by matching their employees' individual, tax-deductible donations. Thousands of companies have matching gift programs that double (a one-to-one match) or even triple the amount of your donation. To find out if your employer has a Corporate Matching Gift Program, contact your company's Personnel Manager or Matching Gifts Program Officer. If your employer does have a matching gift program, please obtain your employer's matching gift form, complete it, and send it along with your donation to the Nova Scotia SPCA.
United Way Designated Charity. If you participate in your employer's annual United Way campaign through payroll deduction, you can choose to designate the Nova Scotia SPCA as the recipient of your charitable contributions, even though the Nova Scotia SPCA is not a United Way funded agency. Talk to your employer's personnel office to learn how.
