Planned Giving
It's up to you to decide how your bequest will be used. Undesignated bequests go to the area of greatest need. Our area of greatest need is cruelty investigations.
Designated bequests can be directed to a specific Branch, or for a particular purpose or program.
If you wish to create a restricted bequest please contact us, or have the legal professional drafting your Will, (see contact information below) to ensure that the correct bequest language is used, and to ensure that the Society can use the bequest for the stated purpose.
Planned Giving is a valuable way of helping vulnerable animals in the province of Nova Scotia for years to come. There are many ways to make a difference, it may be by trusts, bequests, life insurance policies, RRSP’s.
90% of all planned gifts are simple bequests in a will. A will can make a big difference in the lives of animals when you make a gift of cash or property.
